Glens Falls City Schools Receive 80+ New Coats for Students

Glens Falls City Schools are so grateful to have received more than 80 brand new coats for students from the Tri-County United Way and North Country Subaru on Wednesday morning! With this week’s frigid temperatures, it was perfect timing, and made possible by Subaru’s Love Promise team in collaboration with Operation Warm. Some of these new coats, in a variety of sizes and colors, have already been given to students at the Middle School, and others will be on the racks at this Monday’s The HOPE Committee of GFSD Boutique for families. #GFNation appreciates our community partners, and especially Kristin Chlopecki and Laura Jensen at TCUW, and Eric Lendrum at North Country Subaru! Together, we're ensuring children in our community stay warm, confident, and cared for this winter. United, we lead the way! On hand to accept these coats were Superintendent Krislynn Dengler, Director of MTSS Kristy Moore, and GFMS School Counselor Kristen Conway.
